Joshua Jespersen

Joshua joined CGA in 2018 as an Operations Specialist and is currently working to review our existing operational systems’ compliance while developing and implementing systems for finance, human resources, procurement, security, and flight bookings for internal accountability. He also provides support to the county coordinator with cash flow, team management, and operational team leadership within this role. Joshua specialises in leading virtual teams using cloud-based, real-time collaboration tools and productivity suites.

Joshua has extensive experience working in South Sudan having been based there since 2007. Prior to CGA, Joshua was working as a Managing Director for InterHealth East Africa Centre where he ran a centre providing medical/psychological support to regional humanitarian organisations. He has also worked as a Country Director for both Tearfund and Samaritan’s Purse in the past and has extensive experience leading teams of over 600 staff members implementing large-scale infrastructure projects supporting local state and non-state institutions as well as experience in creating and implementing internal operational systems and leading changes in organisational culture.

Joshua has a BA in Political Science from the University of Lethbridge and a BMgt in  International Business Management, also from the University of Lethbridge.
