Bertin Blomoli Oliha

Bertin began at CGA in 2016 when he joined us as a researcher and data entry clerk. Recent projects include supporting the Girls’ Education South Sudan programme for which Bertin led a team of 7 researchers in the field to collect primary data in Aweil, Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Western Equatoria, Lakes and Central Equatoria for the Midline survey. He also carried-out qualitative and quantitative research on the impact of the GESS programme, including Focus Group Discussions, in-depth interviews and ODK surveys. Bertin specialises particularly in data entry, data reconciliation, data analysis and evaluation of findings from research respondents.

Bertin is currently supporting the EU IMPACT project where he works to coordinate AELMA programme activities with CLOs and State Anchors in addition to leading a team of field researchers across South Sudan, conducting surveys and ensuring all CGA standards are followed.

Prior to starting at CGA, Bertin worked for the Catholic Diocese of Torit and the Wau, supporting community mobilisation and education promoting programmes.

He is in the process of completing an MBA at the University of Juba.
