What we did:
12 week project to develop an electronic vouchers system which is linked to a physical card (‘Plancard’). We have developed an innovative system that allows beneficiaries to pick up their entitlements when they want and enables them to spread their entitlement collection out over the period of a month, instead of collecting everything at once. This way, distribution is more low profile and resembles day to day shopping, which lowers the risks for beneficiaries, traders and Plan staff. This system will enable the beneficiaries to pick up entitlements at a time convenient for them, at pre-selected traders. We are responsible for developing the system, and training Plan staff on how to use the system. We are also providing the required hardware.
