Naomi Clugston

Naomi joined us as a Fellow in September 2017. Prior to joining Naomi worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Warwick, helping to organise, among other projects, an international workshop around human rights abuses in West Papua. Whilst studying in Germany, she interned for Kiron Open Higher Education, a Berlin-based NGO working to open access to higher education for refugees entering Europe. During this time she also volunteered with vulnerable young people and children at two refugee centres, introducing arts and music into their weekly rhythm. Her time volunteering in Palestine led to two published articles in both the Independent Online and in Lacuna, a magazine produced by the Centre for Human Rights in Practice at the University of Warwick.

Naomi is a graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
