Jessica is an experienced development practitioner focusing on governance, education and media. She is CGA’s Country Coordinator for the Somalias, and is Team Leader for the Nigeria Schools Attendance Monitoring System (NSAMS). She is also a member of the Board.
Jessica has previously worked for us on the Girls’ Education South Sudan (GESS) project, the Employee Identification System Project for the Ministry of Education in Warrap State, South Sudan, and the South Sudan Electronic Payroll System (SSEPS). She has worked for us and, previously, with the team at Booz & Company, since 2010.
Jessica has worked on projects in Somalia, Nigeria, South Sudan, Sudan, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Australia and the UK.
Jessica started her career as a civil servant with the UK Home Office, and has since worked in a number of roles in the public and voluntary sectors. Most recently, Jessica worked as Country Coordinator for Free Press Unlimited in South Sudan and then Egypt.
Jessica has an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics, and an MA (Hons) in Social Anthropology from Cambridge University.
