Erin Chu Felton

Erin is a public policy and public administration specialist focusing on strengthening government systems in emerging and conflict-affected countries.

Erin’s recent work for us includes leading the development of guidance for improving routine child protection M&E for UNICEF, support to the Somalia Human Resources for Health donor working group, and work on capitation grants and cash transfers design for Girls’ Education South Sudan.

From early 2010 to December 2012 Erin was the Team Leader for the Health Payroll and Attendance Improvement Programme in Sierra Leone. Before that, she worked on the Southern Sudan Health Data Gathering and Payroll System Implementation project. Erin has worked for Charlie Goldsmith Associates and, previously, with the same team at Booz & Company, since 2009.

Erin has worked in South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Indonesia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Malawi, as well as the USA and the UK.

Prior to joining CGA, Erin worked in a variety of operational roles related to public health and policy for organisations including Population Services International (PSI), World Relief, where she was acting Country Director for South Sudan for an extended period, and World Vision.

Erin holds two Masters degrees from Columbia University, one in Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs and another in Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health’s Programme on Forced Migration and Health. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornell University.
